The Work Tuff Gear V-44X Gen 3 is a large-format fixed blade inspired by the legendary Marine Raider Bowies of World War II — the V44 knives procured by Lt. Colonel Carlson for the 2nd Raider Battalion and proven in the jungles of the South Pacific. The V-44X honors those iconic lines while refining ergonomics, balance, and field performance for modern use.

A wide fuller pays homage to the original double-fuller design, reinforcing the bold presence of a large fighting and utility blade. Built for bushcraft, field work, and demanding outdoor tasks, the V-44X delivers power and control in a platform that respects its heritage — and then some.
