The Work Tuff Gear Ninjuko Gen 2, designed by Joe Flowers, is a modern take on the traditional puukko — refined for everyday carry without sacrificing field capability. First introduced in 2023, the Gen 2 builds on the original with a series of targeted upgrades that improve performance, ergonomics, and long-term usability.
The 4" blade is ground from AEB-L stainless steel with cryogenic treatment, delivering improved edge stability and toughness over the previous N690 steel. A scandi grind with micro convex cutting edge bites cleanly into wood and resharpens easily in the field, while the full tang construction with a machined weight-reduction pocket keeps the knife light enough for all-day carry.
