Vertical webbing loops keep the side compression straps neatly in place. The G-hooks also allow adding extra pouches\/bags to the back of the pack. PALS webbing on the front and bottom allows attachment of extra gear using elastic cord or packing straps. The 50mm webbing belt closes using a super secure Berg buckle (max circumference 140cm), very easy to use even with thick cold weather gloves.
